World in Diamonds
The World is in Diamonds.
Where crystalline antagonists are frozen,
And tears and happiness are frozen
In an ever-lasting reflecting glow.
The beauty of the stone chilled our bones,
Until we became one with our desire,
And until we became solid and still,
Dead yet wanting.
Nothing burned down in flames,
Nor drowned in despair,
Nor suffocated until sorrow,
Crept up their souls.
Everything was fine,
Everything was normal.
Yet, then tell me why,
The World is in Diamonds?
And everything is dead.
The World is in Diamonds.
Where crystalline antagonists are frozen,
And tears and happiness are frozen
In an ever-lasting reflecting glow.
The beauty of the stone chilled our bones,
Until we became one with our desire,
And until we became solid and still,
Dead yet wanting.
Nothing burned down in flames,
Nor drowned in despair,
Nor suffocated until sorrow,
Crept up their souls.
Everything was fine,
Everything was normal.
Yet, then tell me why,
The World is in Diamonds?
And everything is dead.
