In spite of my cries
I guess you could see
They were all hollow lies

My walls were not there
To chase away angels
Nor instill them with fear

You're joining a land
That welcomes you not
You'll have to struggle
With all that you've got

Yet you still stay?
With these warnings in mind?
Are you impossibly foolish?
Or impossibly kind?

If it's kindness, I'll take it.
For I want your dreams
And even more wistfully
I want my wings.

I didn't believe it at first
But now I can see
Angels do exist
One just saved me.
