    Art Galleries [A]

Post by Sophie on August 26th 2011, 9:56 pm

Since art students have to visit art galleries every once in a while, I just did a quick search and came up with this link!

Oh! Oh! I really want to visit the Michigan Hot Glass Workshop!
We should all visit there one day!

Yah? (You know you want to.) Yay!

Apparently there's some art show by Troy High (near that lake/pond) this coming Sunday after 6pm. I plan on going, if anyone else wants to meet me there.

I heard about the show in art class, so I assume this information is reliable. (and it DOES count as a gallery visit)

Oh yeah! I'm going there, probably this Sunday too! (Arwa and I live really close by the lake).
I don't know about six, but I'll definitely be there at some point in time.

I'm going- I need the gallery visit and I live within walking distance.

Where is the glass shop? Which city? It sounds cool.

I would like to respectfully correct Elayna- it's until six, not after six.

    Ooh~
That sounds like fun. I had no idea there was an art show here!

Hey, Monika, can you call me along when you're going? Because I haven't the slightest idea where this lake is!
    Yay!

We were here today! We were totally here today!
There was a lot of really interesting stuff in the galleries. There was this one guy swimming out of the wall! (So cool. WANT)

Ah~ Everyone should get together for these gallery visits. <3

We were also here as well! Not quite as interesting (and the website has a stupid layout) but it's right next to the other gallery so you can do two gallery visits in one trip, which is cool!

And there was this Victor Rodriguez guy's painting there, and it looked super dramatic and photorealistic.

Ehehehe. That was the guy with the 'four branches' or something painting right?
I never understood photo-realism, it seems so hard...

Birmingham seems to have a lot of interesting places...
I want to go visit the hot glass workshop, they have lots of interesting pictures. But, it seems like some sort of workshop, so I'm not sure if they'd allow visitors. :x
